The
Basset Hound
The basset hound is a large, lovable, best friend. they are great watch dogs, alerting you to anyone that might come onto their territory, but, it is more from excitement of a potential visitor than being protective. they love everyone and everyone loves them.
The Beagle
The beagle ranges from 15-18 inches high at the shoulder. They are playful and very active. They are great with children, being patient and sturdy companions. you will find in the beagle a truly trustworthy friend for the entire family.
American cocker spaniel
although some grooming is required with this breed, their happy, outgoing personality is worth it. they are very good with children, enjoying a romp in the yard or quiet evening at home. the cocker spaniel has been a favorite family pet for generations.
cairn terrier
this breed was made famous by "toto" in the wizard of oz. these high spirited, intelligent little dogs have a personality all their own. if raised with children they will be a faithful and loyal companion to the whole family.
Chihuahua
The Chihuahuas affinity for being close to it's master makes him a wonderful companion and his size makes him a convenient one. he is not a recommended pet for a family with very young children, but, if raised with older children will be a lifelong friend.

Lhasas are gentle, loyal pets. they adapt well to any situation and love to bounce and play with children. caring for their extreme hair coat can be a job, but, the unmistakable love exhibited in return makes the job a joy.

The min pin is a curious, funny, fearless, energetic pet. he is a big dog in a small dog body. although a wonderful pet for older children, he may not be the best pet for a very young child. his high energy and fearlessness make the yard a favorite place, but his small size and short coat make him a very good house pet.
Pekingese
this lively, strong-willed little dog will be a very loyal pet. if raised with children will become a treasured member of the family. although his long, flowing coat requires some care, his loving personality and value as a watch dog are worth it.
Pembroke

the Pembroke is one of the most agreeable of the small house dogs. it has an affectionate nature, but does not force it's attentions on it's people. it is highly intelligent and remarkably alert. a very loyal companion for any family.

the perky proud miniature poodle is both elegant and athletic. both indoors and out, he is lively and happy. the poodle is a thinking dog that pays rapt attention to his owner. When raised with children will adapt quickly, but, may be protective of the one person he considers his master.

the miniature schnauzer is an energetic, active dog that has clean habits and makes a delightful companion for apartment, house or yard. The schnauzer will become completely devoted to his home and family. He makes an excellent family pet and child's companion, forming a deep life-long bond.
Rat
Terrier
Rat Terriers are very lively, active and bouncy. They love human companionship and will spend hours playing. Since they are such an active breed, they do require alot of exercise and room to play. They are a great family pet and will entertain you with their antics for hours.

scottys are a highly intelligent, loving breed. if raised with children and other pets will quickly become the most favored member of the family. he will do his best to protect and please his family and be a devoted companion.

the shih tzu is a sturdy, lively, toy dog, with a long flowing double coat. they may seem to have an arrogant personality, but, they are actually playful and gentle. shih tzus adapt well to any family situation, happily cuddling in your lap, doing tricks, or fetching a ball. He would make a wonderful member for any family.

highland white terrier
the westie is an intelligent dog that learns quickly. they love human companionship and will play with the family inside or outdoors. their size makes them the perfect pet for apartment, house or yard. a great companion for children of all ages.

poo breeds are a cross between a poodle male and a female of another breed. cockapoo, (cocker spaniel + poodle), peke-a-poo, (pekingese +poodle) etc. poo breeds have become increasing popular in the past few years. the combination of the poodles intelligence and non-shedding qualities and the sturdiness, high spirit, or laid back style of the other breeds make for a perfect family companion. we have received wonderful feedback about our poo breeds, most as companion animals, but also being trained as therapy dogs for nursing homes and children's hospitals.
